Finally Today's Friday!!

Happy Friday everyone!!

So what do you all have planned this weekend? Well I am taking my stepdaughter tonight to go see Twilight "New Moon" and I am very excited! I love Twilight the first one and I am looking forward to seeing the second movie. I got my stepdaughter hooked on the first Twilight and ever since then she wanted to have a date with me to go see New Moon LOL! Saturday night I am going to see another movie (yup I am having a movie weekend) and I am seeing the Fourth Kind with my father....we are both really into this type of stuff so this shall be interesting since it is based on actual documented cases!!!

Finally Almost Normal Again

Well I am finally back to work this week after having a LONG week of being sick last week. I went to the Ironman Bodybuilding Competition last Saturday to see a friend compete. Well a friend of ours was sick who was also attending the event to watch. Here I am thinking she has a cold so no big deal and that she has been sick for a few days so she shouldn't be contagious anymore. LOL well I was wrong. That Monday evening I started feeling a sore throat coming on and I was like okay I am getting sick but just a cold....No no it was no cold LOL....I was SICK. Sore throat, body hurting everywhere, and fever. As the days went on my friend who competed told me she was sick as well. She went to the doctor that Wed. and found out she had H1N1 YIKES! Well since the days have been going....the sicker I had gotten as well...fever after fever like 102 temp. My eyes watering like crazy...felt like someone was pushing my cheek bones forward and it hurt super bad that my teeth actually hurt. I went back to the doctor Friday and they had told me that my viral sickness had also turned into a server sinus infection UGH! So I was battling two things instead of one. Now I am on the highest strongest dose of antibiotics and I am starting to finally feel normal again!

Back To School

Well back to school again! It was nice having a week off to relax but now it's back to the books and etc. I will be done in less than a year now and I am getting excited!

I almost took this term off from school only because I am needing some serious rest. I am not sure if I am coming down with something or it's stress that is finally catching up to me. I wake-up every morning for the past week feeling tired still and wanting to go back to bed.....what the heck is the matter with me? Why do I feel so not motivated and blah? Maybe I should go see the doc. and figure out my problem. What do you all think I should do??????

Finals Week For School

Well this is it...this is my last week for this term for school. I really hope I do well on my finals this week. After this term, I have 5 terms left before I finish my BA degree in Criminal Justice...that is one year left to get done...WOOHOO!

Those of you who don't know me well, I am obtaining my degree in Criminal Justice to get into the Probation career field. Yes, I know...HUH you actually want to do that? Why? Well because I love helping people as I do now in my current career field. This is my calling and I believe I was meant to help others whether it be for college or helping those who have made a mistake and helping them with probation instead of prison time. This is something that I have always wanted to get which was a degree in Criminal Justice.

My Grandfather

Three weeks ago my grandfather just made his 90th birthday. After that he went down hill.

Well this week has been a really rough week for me. My grandfather was ill last week and I am just glad I had the chance to say my last good-bye to him last Thursday.

I went to work this week on Wed. (september 23rd) and I was there only an hour till I got the call from both my mother and sister that my grandfather had passed away that morning at 8am. So, I had to pack up and leave work and pick my sister up. Once I picked my sister up we headed to my house to pick up my husband as we all were going to my uncles house. Once we got there we learned of the plans and got to comfort my grandmother.

Friday (september 24th) came and it was the day of his wake. Boy that was hard and to see my family break down in front of where he laid.

Saturday (september 26th) was the day of his funeral. I knew this would be the hardest day yet. We went to the funeral home to say a prayer before leaving for the church. When we got to the church this is when it really hit me and everyone else. It was a beautiful services. After the church we went to the grave site since my grandfather was in the navy they had the navy there to represent my grandfather. WOW that was really hard and I cried.

May my grandfather rest in peace and we loved him all so much.
